My partner, my health, and my dog. Also my step-siblings, especially since they all decided to have kids. My mom hasn't pestered me or my sister about grandkids in ten years now.

A job after Obamacare made me unemployed. Living in America, in spite of the politicians. Great roads to cruise. The ability to modify your ride without Government regulation. Fairly cheap fuel. I could go on and on.

I have just one brother, and kids aren't really part of either of our plans. The amount of pressure our parents put on us is awful.

Not even 20 minutes had passed after I came out to my mom when she said, "You know, you can still have kids..."

Ugh, that's beyond frustrating. Parents always say they want you to be yourself, but actually putting those words into practice can be an entirely different story. To my parents, "gay" means "just isn't trying hard enough to meet the right girl." And they'd always seemed like enlightened people to me...

Oh, no, it wasn't like that, thank God. It was more like, "Even if you're gay, you can still have kids. Like a surrogate, or something. I WANT GRANDCHILDREN!" But it was only about a year later when my stepsister got pregnant, then the other stepsister, then my stepbrother's wife, and I've been left alone ever since.
